Taking a nice vacation with these great stars and filmmaker.

Last week, I got an early look at the new independent drama “Islands,” and I spoke with the stars: Sam Riley (“Control,” “Maleficent”), Stacy Martin (“The Brutalist,” “The Testament of Ann Lee”), Jack Farthing (“Spencer,” “The Lost Daughter”), and the writer/director Jan-Ole Gerster (“A Coffee in Berlin,” “Lara”). Questions about this movie regard the island Fuerteventura being a character, the main protagonist played by Riley, and working with each talented person.
