One Frankenstein After Sinners

The Oscar Winners you can see coming. Viva La Revolution!

Conan O’Brien is the host of the 98th Academy Awards, and we begin to see him in “Weapons” make-up being chased by kids and cameoing in this year’s nominees. We also get Miles Caton doing a “Sinners” number on stage with the dancers and himself in costume. Even “Kpop Demon Hunters” has a colorful performance. Billy Crystal pays a loving tribute to Rob Reiner with collaborators like Meg Ryan, Fred Savage, and Keifer Sutherland coming on stage. Although Robert Duvall deserved a better tribute than what he was given here. Hold on for one more “Bridesmaids” reunion with Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph, Melissa McCarthy, Rose Byrne, and Ellie Kemper. And O’Brien can bring “Casablanca” in his own light, but not even he can make Grogu clap.

Here are this year’s winners, and ignore the people asking when the award ceremony is over.

When my mother asked what’s the difference between visual effects and A.I., I said: “You’re looking at it. James Cameron doesn’t do A.I. and you’ll know when it’s A.I. If you’re on Facebook,” and see a poster that says: “Forrest Gump 2,” that’s A.I.” And she said: “There was a lot of talk of Bruce Springsteen and this fake stuff.” That’s why we need critics like us to tell you what is real and what is fake.

Academy Honorary Awards: Debbie Allen, Tom Cruise, and Wynn Thomas
