A space trip that gets trippier than absorbing. We see Eiza Gonzalez as Riya waking up on a strange planet with hallucinations of purple and pink colors and slaughtered people. Her memories […]
Ash
Locked
Could someone please roll the window down? If someone locks a thief in their unbreakable car, then they would report that person to the police. Instead, he would torture him by playing […]
Black Bag
There’s a lot of baggage in Steven Soderbergh’s latest stylish spy thriller. As Steven Soderbergh’s “Black Bag” begins, an agent finds out that his wife, who is also an agent, may be […]
The Rule of Jenny Pen

Daredevil: Born Again
An entertaining Disney+ series where Daredevil tries to handle crime the legal way but goes back to vigilantism. I’ve heard the Marvel superhero Daredevil through the 2003 Ben Affleck movie, and I […]
Last Breath
An underwater rescue thriller with plenty of oxygen. “Last Breath” is the remake of the documentary of the same name, which focused on saturation diver Chris Lemons, who survived the bottom of […]

Companion
A robot thriller with the right programming. Here’s a little “Stepford Wives” for you. A young woman named Iris (Sophie Thatcher) walks down the grocery store like a robot, which apparently she […]
Presence
An absorbing ghost movie by Soderbergh. I think we can agree that the “Paranormal Activity” movies have jumped the shark, which I why I have skipped the last few entries. But Steven […]
