The weather is looking great for this WWII drama. “Pressure” is a WWII drama regarding the preparation for D-Day. As part of Operation Overlord, it regarded the invasion of Normandy, which was […]

Spider-Noir
Nicolas Cage is the right man to play this Spider Person, see? The best animated film of 2018, “Spider-Man Into the Spider-Verse,” gave us a few different spider people, and out of […]
Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan: Ghost War
Not much Clear and Present Danger here. Tom Clancy’s literature CIA analyst character Jack Ryan has been able to transition himself into movies. Alec Baldwin played him in “The Hunt for Red […]
In the Grey
Too grey to be a Guy Ritchie hit. Guy Ritchie’s latest crime caper “In the Grey” is a real missed opportunity that looks and acts stylish, but spends too much time on […]
Is God Is
Plenty of fire in this stylish thriller. I was expecting the new blaxploitation thriller “Is God Is” to be wildly entertaining and ambitious and it is. And it also is a grindhouse […]
The Punisher: One Last Kill
Not the TV special this vigilante deserves. Jon Bernthal reprises his Marvel role as Frank Castle A.K.A The Punisher in the Disney+ MCU special “The Punisher: One Last Kill” and in the […]
Obsession

Deep Water
“Thrash” and “No Way Up,” eat your hearts out. Important distinction: try not to get this “Deep Water” confused with the Ben Affleck movie of the same name. “Deep Water” is another […]
