Johnny ****ing Cage is the real reason to see this sequel. I’m pretty sure I’ve mentioned in my review of the first “Mortal Kombat” reboot that I’ve never played the game before, […]

Swapped
Cute critters and birds change species and give us a charming animated film. “Swapped” says it’s a body swap animated movie, but it’s not like Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan being […]
Deep Water
“Thrash” and “No Way Up,” eat your hearts out. Important distinction: try not to get this “Deep Water” confused with the Ben Affleck movie of the same name. “Deep Water” is another […]
Hokum
Adam Scott doesn’t get writer’s block in this great horror film. After my viewing of the new NEON horror film “Hokum,” I held an elevator open for a fellow critic named Mike, […]
The Devil Wears Prada 2

One Spoon of Chocolate
RZA’s latest directing job is more aggravating than poetic. You know Quentin Tarantino had something to do with “One Spoon of Chocolate,” if he adds some Red Apple Cigarettes, white characters dropping […]

Ricky
A riveting prison drama that takes place after time in prison. “Ricky” was the last film I watched virtually from the Sundance Film Festival last year, and this year, I was given […]
