How this acting legend saw his career and ambition.
I attended a special screening of the 1975 crime drama “Dog Day Afternoon,” and Al Pacino was there to offer his words of wisdom to the audience at the United Palace theater in New York. I asked him a question about how he got into acting and what premonition that lead him to where he is in his career. He has a lot to speak on his mind.
After the show, when I told him “The Irishman” made my Best of the Decade list, he said: “Scorsese, remember that name.”
