Here’s my question to Hooper, Curt, and Roy Neary.
I was at the Bergen Performing Arts Center in Englewood, NJ last Saturday night for a special screening of the 1975 shark classic “Jaws,” and Richard Dreyfuss was there for a special Q&A. I was literally the last person to ask him about my all-time favorite Rob Reiner movie “Stand By Me.”
Apologizes if the audio isn’t perfect.

I was there as well and I have to be perfectly honest – I was so dissappointed as were the 3 other people I attended with. Instead of discussing all his other movies, (which are all great) he went off on weird tangents about a pizza delivery guy, Barbra Streisand, Audrey Hepburn, etc & I really thought he would answer questions about JAWS, the making of JAWS, working w/Robert Shaw, Roy Scheider, possible mistakes made during filming, etc! Afterall, JAWS was an iconic film and that’s what we paid to watch & presumably ask questions about. I found Mr. Dreyfuss extremely forgetful and almost uncomfortable in front of the audience. He was definitely “off” and I’m not sure why? It was an underwhelming event and not worth the money I spent on 4 tickets!!
