Listen to what this “Frozen River” and “The Fighter” actress has to say about this new drama.

Last week, I got an early look at the new independent drama “The Knife,” which is about a family dealing with a break-in. The movie was directed by Nnamdi Asomugha, who also plays the father, and the cast also includes Aja Naomi King as his wife, and Melissa Leo as a detective interviewing the family about the comatose trespasser. That same week, courtesy of my good friends from NYFCO, I was also interviewing Leo on her role in the film. And on a personal note, I met her in 2007 at a screening of an independent film called “Hollywood Dreams,” and so, this is a perfect reunion. Expect a review on this movie from me soon.
