The train ride that makes the right stops. “Compartment No. 6” is a Russian/Finnish film that loves the formula of two people who don’t like each other but manage to connect well […]

We Need to Talk About Cosby
This important series shows us how Bill Cosby went from an icon to a hated man. I’ve never grown up on “The Cosby Show,” “I Spy,” “The Electric Company,” or “Fat Albert,” […]
CJ’s Virtual Visit to the Sundance Film Festival
This year’s virtual festival features Lucille Ball, John Boyega, Bill Cosby, and Emma Thompson. I’ve been to the New York Film Festival, the Chicago Film Festival, and the Boulder International Film Festival […]

Ray Donovan, The King’s Daughter, and Parallel Mothers Podcast Reviews

Scream, Belle, Hotel Transylvania, A Hero, Ray Donovan, and Parallel Mothers Video Reviews
CJ’s video reviews feature sequels, TV spin-offs, and foreign filmmakers. This week’s video reviews consist of the fifth entry of the “Scream” franchise with Neve Campbell, Courtney Cox, and David Arquette back […]
Ray Donovan: The Movie
This well-acted movie version of the hit Showtime series misfires. I’m more into movies than I am in most TV shows, because there’s so many of them, it’s hard to keep up. […]
