An entertaining Disney+ series where Daredevil tries to handle crime the legal way but goes back to vigilantism. I’ve heard the Marvel superhero Daredevil through the 2003 Ben Affleck movie, and I […]
Daredevil: Born Again
Riff Raff
It makes a killing of words and bullets. What makes “Riff Raff” the latest in a series of Tarantino-inspired films are its choice of characters, how they use their dialogue, what needs […]
Cleaner
Like “Die Hard,” but in London and with window cleaners. Now, here’s an action thriller with much better appeal than “Love Hurts.” It’s called “Cleaner,” and it’s actually an action movie on […]
Old Guy
The chemistry between the three leads works, but the screenplay runs out of bullets. We begin and close with the main character partying like he’s in a Gaspar Noe movie. The amazing […]
The Gorge
Miles Teller and Anya Taylor-Joy shine in this entertaining AppleTV+ Sci-Fi thriller. A lot of us critics have been complaining about the CGI effects used in “Captain America: Brave New World.” I […]
Captain America: Brave New World
Code Red: this is a fun Marvel entry. These days, the most successful MCU movies on both sides of the equation are “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” “Guardians of […]
Love Hurts

Dog Man
A doggone good time. Not to be confused with Luc Besson’s “DogMan.” So you better be specific when you ask someone if they saw “Dog Man” or “DogMan.” “Dog Man” is based […]
Flight Risk
Too much turbulence for this plane thriller. The premise for “Flight Risk” is simple. An accountant for a gangster on trail is arrested by a Federal Marshall, and agrees to testify against […]
