This sequel cuts back a little on the gore and more on the attitude and humor. Becky (Lulu Wilson) has to arrive with a smile and her dog Diego to her new […]
The Wrath of Becky
Fast X
These tires need to be rotated. My loyal readers on my website will know that I have not been a fan of the “Fast & Furious” sequels lately. I disliked “The Fate […]
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3
The GOTG trilogy we all know and love goes out with a bang. James Gunn’s “Guardians of the Galaxy” trilogy is coming to a close with Vol. 3. After the messy “Ant-Man […]
Murder Mystery 2

A third sequel that shoots and scores. The “John Wick” franchise keeps getting better and better. When I first saw the original movie in 2014, I’ve never expected it to be this […]
Shazam: Fury of the Gods
This sequel lacks the laughs and superpowers of the original. It’s amazing to me that despite the fact that Billy Batson can switch back and forth from a human teen to an […]
Scream VI

History of the World: Part II
A solid, funny continuation of history poked fun at by Mel Brooks and new comedy talents. What started off as a joke at the end of Mel Brooks’ “History of the World: […]
Creed III
Michael B. Jordan gets back in the ring as the star and first time director. Just as I thought 2023 would be a bad year for threequels, coming on the heels of […]
Missing
An entertaining follow-up to “Searching,” if not equal to. “Missing” is the spiritual sequel to the 2018 breakout hit “Searching,” which told the story of a father searching for his teenage daughter […]
